Description

The CCL2 monoclonal antibody is produced using recombinant human CCL2 protein as the immunogen. The hybridoma cells generated by fusing mouse B cells with mouse myeloma cells are screened to select the hybridoma cell line that produces the CCL2 antibody. The selected hybridomas were cultured in the mouse abdominal cavity. The CCL2 monoclonal antibody is purified from the mouse ascites using protein G affinity chromatography to ensure a purity of over 95%. It is an unconjugated IgG2b antibody. It is suitable for recognizing the human CCL2 protein in ELISA and IHC applications.

CCL2, also known as MCP-1, plays a key role in inflammation and immune response. It is a potent chemoattractant for monocytes and other leukocytes, promoting their recruitment to sites of inflammation. CCL2 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of various diseases, including atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer.
