Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

FLT3 ligand drives the expansion and differentiation of hematopoietic progenitors and dendritic cells, making it a critical tool for studies of myeloid development and immune cell mobilization. This recombinant protein, spanning residues 27–184 of the mature human sequence, demonstrates potent bioactivity with an ED50 ≤ 1.0 ng/ml in OCI-AML5 proliferation assays, corresponding to a specific activity ≥ 1 × 10⁶ units/mg that supports dose-response experiments in primary hematopoietic cultures and dendritic cell differentiation protocols. Endotoxin levels ≤ 10 EU/mg satisfy the stringent criteria expected for immune cell functional assays, where LPS contamination would confound readouts of cytokine-driven activation or JAK/STAT signaling. Produced in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and folding, the protein meets the quality thresholds commonly required for in vivo hematopoiesis models, antibody validation workflows, and reference standards in FLT3L detection assays, with purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE.
