  • IHC image of CSB-PA001242LA01HU diluted at 1:200 and staining in paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Target Data

Function F-actin cross-linking protein which is thought to anchor actin to a variety of intracellular structures. This is a bundling protein.

  1. A dual-beam optical tweezers measured the mechanics of alpha-actinin 2 and rabbit titin interaction at the single-molecule level. Depending on the direction of force application, the unbinding forces can more than triple. Multiple alpha-actinin/Z-repeat interactions cooperate to ensure long-term stable titin anchoring, while allowing the individual components to exchange dynamically. PMID: 28096424
