The LBA polyclonal antibody is produced by injecting the recombinant Glycine max (Soybean) (Glycine hispida) LBA protein (10-31aa) into a rabbit. After several days, the rabbit receives a booster of antigen injection to produce large amounts of antibodies against the antigen. Then, blood serum containing LBA polyclonal antibodies is collected and purified through protein G. This LBA antibody has been screened through ELISA and WB tests for its specific recognition of Glycine max (Soybean) (Glycine hispida) LBA protein.
Leghemoglobin A (LBA) is a key component of root nodules in leguminous plants like soybeans, where it serves as an oxygen carrier and regulator. LBA facilitates the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide during the symbiotic relationship between soybean plants and nitrogen-fixing rhizobia. Nitrogen fixation is crucial for plant growth and overall nitrogen balance in the ecosystem.
