However, I do have a question about the product. You say it comes in a buffer, but what does the buffer contains? I have looked for this protein with other suppliers as well and they all supply it lyophilized.
On your site it says expiry date: 12 months in lyophilized form; 6 months in solution form. This suggest it comes lyophilized?
Can you also provide me information about the suitability for MALDI-TOF MS? It is of high importance that I can use it for this technique because I want to determine the specific K99 peak.

Very nice to receive your inquiry. Actually we have two lots of stock for this protein, one lot is Lyophilized Powder, and another lot is Liquid Form.
The shelf life of Lyophilized Powder is 12 months, and the shelf of Liquid Form is 6 months.

2. LC-MS Info
The LC-MS we currently perform is based on the theoretical sequence in the database and then spliced. You meant that you wanted to compare the actual peak map.
The positive control of mass spectrometry does not require much, as long as it can ensure that there is no problem with the protein, the sequencing is correct, or the mass spectrometry itself is also performed,
then it can be applied. The sequencing of our stock protein is correct, so it can be used in the your application in theory.
But to get the same peak map, two conditions need to be met: 1. There is no extra residual amino acid. 2. For post-translational modification, the structure is the same as the native protein.
1) Our no-tagged protein CSB-EP322992ENLe1 was obtained by Sumo enzyme digestion. There are several amino acid residues (GSEFRT) after the cleavage.
So the N-terminus of the spectrum is a little different. But it is no problem to make a qualitative judgment.
2) For this protein, itself is the E. coli 's own protein, structure is almost the same with the natural protein modification.
