Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

Glutamate carboxypeptidase 2 (FOLH1/PSMA) cleaves the terminal glutamate from folylpolyglutamates and serves as a validated target in prostate cancer and neurological disorders, making quantitative binding studies critical for therapeutic antibody development. This mammalian-expressed protein spanning residues 44–750 demonstrates robust antibody recognition in functional ELISA, with EC50 values of 11.74–15.02 ng/mL and 3.853–4.303 ng/mL for two distinct anti-FOLH1 antibodies, providing quantitative benchmarks for epitope mapping studies and inhibitor screening assays where competitive binding must be measured.
