  • (Tris-Glycine gel) Discontinuous SDS-PAGE (reduced) with 5% enrichment gel and 15% separation gel.
  • Based on the SEQUEST from database of E.coli host and target protein, the LC-MS/MS Analysis result of CSB-RP150894h could indicate that this peptide derived from E.coli-expressed Homo sapiens (Human) HLA-B.

Form
Liquid or Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer
If the delivery form is liquid, the default storage buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 5%-50% glycerol.
Note: If you have any special requirement for the glycerol content, please remark when you place the order.
If the delivery form is lyophilized powder, the buffer before lyophilization is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
3-7 business days
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Description

The recombinant Human HLA-B protein is encoded by the gene of HLA-B (25-308aa). The gene of HLA-B was cloned in a system (E.coli) that supported the expression of HLA-B. Modification of HLA-B by recombinant DNA technology could lead to the expression of the target protein. The protein was fused with N-terminal 6xHis tag in the production. The purity is 90% determined by SDS-PAGE.

HLA-B is a protein coding gene that encodes HLA-B protein. According to some studies, HLA-B may have the following features.
The dominant influence of HLA-B in mediating the potential co-evolution of HIV and HLA. Genetic variation in the HLA-B region and hypersensitivity to abacavir. The innate partnership of HLA-B and KIR3DL1 subtypes to HIV-1. Allele-specific and peptide-dependent interactions between KIR3DL1 and HLA-A and HLA-B. A clone of a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily related to the recognition of HLA-C and HLA-B by human natural killer cells. The apparent interaction between KIR3DS1 and HLA-B delayed the development of AIDS. The assembly and maturation of HLA-A and HLA-B antigens in vivo. Reactivity of the Bw4 common epitope of the HLA-B molecule with natural killer cell clones expressing NKB1, a putative HLA receptor.

 Q&A
Q:

We are trying to develop a multiplexing assay on Luminex to detect the HLA Class I and II antibodies in individuals.
We are looking for manufacturer who can provide us human derived recombined HLA class I and II antigens, checked on your website and find some Locus antigens are available with you. For the panel designing we need antigens of locu B.
Could you please provide some idea about it?

A:
As to your request for the antigen of B, please check detailed information as follows:
