Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

The region for expressing recombinant Human HNRNPH1 contains amino acids 2-449. This HNRNPH1 protein is theoretically predicted to have a molecular weight of 65.1 kDa. This HNRNPH1 recombinant protein is manufactured in e.coli. The HNRNPH1 gene fragment has been modified by fusing the N-terminal 6xHis-SUMO tag, providing convenience in detecting and purifying the recombinant HNRNPH1 protein during the following stages.

Human heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein H (HNRNPH1) is a multifunctional RNA-binding protein that plays crucial roles in various aspects of RNA metabolism. As a member of the hnRNP family, HNRNPH1 is involved in pre-mRNA processing, including splicing, mRNA transport, and stability. It forms ribonucleoprotein complexes and contributes to the regulation of alternative splicing, influencing the diversity of the proteome. Beyond its role in RNA processing, HNRNPH1 has been implicated in other cellular functions, including transcriptional regulation and telomere maintenance. Dysregulation of HNRNPH1 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, highlighting its significance in cellular homeostasis.

Mediates pre-mRNA alternative splicing regulation. Inhibits, together with CUGBP1, insulin receptor (IR) pre-mRNA exon 11 inclusion in myoblast. Binds to the IR RNA. Binds poly(RG).
