Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
May play an important role in neural, kidney and vascular development. Promotes neurite elongation from olfactory bulb explants.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Endogenous NTN4/NEO1 maintain neuroblastoma growth via both pro-survival and pro-migratory molecular signaling. PMID: 28038459
  2. Data indicate that OR3A4 upregulation contributes to metastasis and tumorigenesis in gastric cancer by regulating the activation of PDLIM2, MACC1, NTN4, and GNB2L1. PMID: 26863570
  3. NTN4 is reduced in breast cancer tissues and NTN4 is associated with breast cancer cell migration and invasion via regulation of epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT)-related biomarkers. PMID: 27840993
  4. We found statistically significant association with AAO for three genes (WRN, NTN4 and LAMC3) with common associated variants. PMID: 26394601
  5. inhibits placental microvascular endothelial cells proliferation, tube-like formation, migration and spheroid sprouting PMID: 26390805
  6. Ntn4 promotes the proliferation and motility of gastric cancer cells which is mediated by its receptor Neo and through further activation of multi-oncogenic pathways PMID: 25909166
  7. Increased expression of miR-20a may play an important role in the pathogenesis of ovarian endometriosis by suppressing NTN4 expression. PMID: 24972566
  8. Increased maternal netrin-4 levels in IUGR neonates may reflect in utero hypoxia, while the negative correlations between fetal netrin-1 and -4 levels may exert the dynamic balance between their angio- and anti-angiogenic properties. PMID: 24716747
  9. NTN4 acts as a positive regulator for TC axon branching through activity-dependent expression PMID: 25288737
  10. NETRIN-4 protects glioblastoma cells FROM temozolomide induced senescence. PMID: 24265816
  11. NTN4 expression was downregulated in cervical cancer tissues compared to normal controls, and in vivo mRNA level of NTN4 inversely correlated with miR-196a expression. PMID: 24120501
  12. pattern of distribution suggests that a functional netrin-4-neogenin pathway might be restricted to syncytiotrophoblasts, mesenchymal cells, and villous endothelial cells PMID: 22705235
  13. glioma cells reduce netrin-4 expression to decrease its inhibitory effects. PMID: 22496621
  14. Netrin-4 is upregulated in breast carcinoma effusions compared to corresponding solid tumors PMID: 20730893
  15. The alpha6beta1 integrin is a netrin-4 receptor in endothelial cells. PMID: 21799154
  16. NT-4 overexpression decreases tumor growth and carcinomatosis, probably via an antiangiogenic effect PMID: 21406174
  17. Loss of NTN4 by methylation is associated with breast cancer. PMID: 19859801
  18. Netrin-4, at physiologic doses, induces proliferation, migration, adhesion, tube formation and survival of human lymphatic endothelial cells. PMID: 20407033
  19. NTN4, TRA1, and STC2 have roles in progression of breast cancer PMID: 17545519
  20. Knockdown of Netrin-4 expression in EC increased their ability to form tubular structures; Netrin-4 bound only to neogenin but not to Unc5B or Unc5C receptors PMID: 18719102
  21. A potential role for netrin-4 in regulating tumor growth. PMID: 19094984
