Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

ROR2 is a receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in Wnt5a-mediated non-canonical signaling pathways that regulate cell polarity, migration, and proliferation in developmental and oncogenic contexts. This mammalian-expressed construct spanning residues 34–403 captures the extracellular ligand-binding domain with native post-translational modifications that preserve conformational epitopes, as demonstrated by high-affinity antibody binding with a KD of 0.17 nM measured by surface plasmon resonance. The protein exhibits robust functional activity in ELISA-based binding assays, achieving an EC50 of 0.81–1.00 ng/mL when immobilized and challenged with a recombinant anti-ROR2 antibody, which supports its use in therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, competitive inhibition screening, and ligand-receptor interaction studies. With purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this preparation meets the quality thresholds commonly required for SPR affinity characterization, blocking antibody validation, and small-molecule inhibitor screening in cancer-focused drug discovery programs.

Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor which may be involved in the early formation of the chondrocytes. It seems to be required for cartilage and growth plate development. Phosphorylates YWHAB, leading to induction of osteogenesis and bone formation. In contrast, has also been shown to have very little tyrosine kinase activity in vitro. May act as a receptor for wnt ligand WNT5A which may result in the inhibition of WNT3A-mediated signaling.
