Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

This recombinant mouse L1CAM spans residues 20–1123, capturing the complete extracellular domain architecture required for physiologically relevant binding events, and demonstrates specific antibody recognition with an EC50 of 1.827–2.141 ng/mL in functional ELISA. The mammalian expression system supports native glycosylation and disulfide bond formation, features that align with standards expected in cell adhesion and spreading assays, cell migration and invasion studies, and antibody development workflows where authentic epitope presentation is essential. Purity exceeding 95% by both SDS-PAGE and SEC-HPLC, combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, meets the quality thresholds commonly required for tumor metastasis models and integrin-ligand binding experiments where contaminants could confound interpretation of L1CAM-mediated signaling.
