Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Can degrade fibronectin, gelatins of type I, III, IV, and V; weakly collagens III, IV, and V. Activates procollagenase.
Gene References into Functions
  1. These results indicate that MMP10 serves a beneficial role in response to acute infection by moderating the proinflammatory response of resident and infiltrating macrophages. PMID: 27316687
  2. MMP-10 facilitates the clearance of multiwalled carbon nanotubesand moderates the pro-inflammatory response of exposed alveolar and infiltrated macrophages. PMID: 28223796
  3. crosstalk between MMP10 and the CXCR4/SDF1 axis contributes to hepatocarcinogenesis PMID: 25808184
  4. Matrix metalloproteinase-10 expression is induced during hepatic injury and plays a fundamental role in liver tissue repair. PMID: 24119197
  5. our findings support a model in which MMP-10 activity modulates CXCR4/SDF1 signaling, which is essential for efficient skeletal muscle regeneration. PMID: 24548137
  6. Dissection of the matrix metalloproteinase 10 (MMP10) substrate degradome in fibroblast secretomes. PMID: 24281761

  8. MMP10 promotes macrophage movement PMID: 23691065
  9. Assessed MMP-10's role in a murine model of colonic tissue damage induced by dextran sulfate sodium(DSS) treatment, and conclude MMP10 is required for resolution of DSS-induced colonic damage, and in its absence, chronic inflammation and dysplasia occurs. PMID: 23044923
  10. Mmp10 is required for maintenance of a highly tumorigenic, cancer-initiating, metastatic stem-like cell population in lung cancer. PMID: 22545096
  11. MMP-10 was capable of enhancing tissue plasminogen activator-induced fibrinolysis via a thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor inactivation-mediated mechanism. PMID: 22104553
  12. Data show that S100a9, Mmp10 and Ang2 were among the most downregulated genes, whereas Per3, Tef and Prdx6 were significantly upregulated in the DMH + Calcium group. PMID: 21857934
  13. These findings support the hypothesis that CHF1/Hey2 is an important regulator of MMP10 expression. PMID: 22079635
  14. Data demonstrate induction of MMP-10 by VEGF in HUVEC and support an angiogenic role for MMP-10 in response to VEGF stimulation in vitro and in vivo. PMID: 20432469
  15. Results suggest that MMP-10 may be important in the initial stages of squamous cell cancer progression and induced in the stroma relating to the general host-response reaction to skin cancer. PMID: 19601983
  16. Mice injected with lymphoma cells constitutively expressing MMP10 develop thymic lymphoma more rapidly than those injected with control lymphoma cells. PMID: 15356104
