Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Receptor for ADP and ATP coupled to G-proteins that inhibit the adenylyl cyclase second messenger system. Required for normal platelet aggregation and blood coagulation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Gene expression of the purinergic P2Y12 subtype was detected in rat retina during early postnatal days (P0 to P5), while expression levels of P2Y13 were low. PMID: 29574630
  2. Establish a reliable antiplatelet profile of SAR216471, and support its potential use in clinical practice as an alternative to currently available P2Y12 receptor antagonists. PMID: 25064036
  3. Data indicate that endothelium-dependent relaxation as well as contractile vascular responses actions are not mediated by purinergic receptor P2Y G-protein coupled 12 (P2Y12) activation. PMID: 19811450
  4. study reports robust involvement of P2Y12R in inflammatory pain: anti-hyperalgesic effect of P2Y12R antagonism could be mediated by the inhibition of both central and peripheral cytokine production and involves alpha7-receptor mediated efferent pathways PMID: 24971933
  5. Notoginsenoside Ft1, a saponin isolated from Panax notoginseng, enhanced platelet aggregation by activating a signalling network mediated through P2Y12 receptors. PMID: 24117220
  6. Platelet ADP and AA receptor inhibition is a prominent early feature of coagulopathy in traumatic brain injury in humans and rats and is linked to the severity of brain injury in patients with isolated head trauma. PMID: 24747445
  7. Expression of P2Y12 receptors is necessary for autotaxin's MORFO domain to exert its effects on differentiating oligodendrocytes. PMID: 22139091
  8. Findings provide the first evidence that the activation of P2Y12R in SGCs of TG following lingual nerve injury is involved in the enhancement of TG neuron activity and nocifensive reflex behavior, resulting in neuropathic pain in the tongue. PMID: 22458630
  9. These findings indicate that ATP induces the integrin-beta1 activation in microglia through P2Y(12) and suggest that the integrin-beta1 activation is involved in the directional process extension by microglia in brain tissue. PMID: 20091784
  10. A cAMP-dependent inhibition of protein kinase B induces differentiation of C6 glioma cells, and inhibition of adenylate cyclase and reactivation of the PI 3-kinase/PKB pathway by the P2Y(12) receptor reverses differentiation into enhanced proliferation PMID: 15056287
  11. secretion of endogenous ADP and subsequent P2Y12-mediated signaling are critical for platelet aggregation, platelet spreading, and as a consequence, for stabilization of thrombus PMID: 16194207
  12. The adult rat CNS the cellular/subcellular distribution of P2Y12 receptor protein in cerebral cortex, white matter and subcortical nuclei (striatum and substantia nigra). PMID: 16831517
  13. Activation of vascular and glomerular purinergic P2 receptors (P2Y12) may contribute to the mesangial cell transformation, renal inflammation, and vascular hypertrophy observed in ANG II-dependent hypertension. PMID: 17989111
  14. Knockdown of P2Y12 receptor expression suppresses the development of pain behaviors. PMID: 18337420
  15. Activation of P2Y(12)Rs in spinal microglia may be critical event in pathogenesis of neuropathic pain. Blocking microglial P2Y(12)R might be viable therapeutic strategy for treating neuropathic pain. PMID: 18463248
