Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity.
Gene References into Functions
  1. these results suggest that cTnI(R146G) and cTnI(R21C) blunt PKA modulation of activation and relaxation kinetics by prohibiting cardiac-specific N-terminal interaction with the cTnI inhibitory peptide. PMID: 26391394
  2. troponin I phosphorylation has a role in protein kinase C-mediated enhanced contractile performance of myocytes PMID: 12815045
  3. A novel role is described for cardiac TnI PKA phosphorylation in the rate-dependent enhancement of systolic & diastolic function in vivo & afterload sensitivity of relaxation. This has implications for cardiac failure. PMID: 14726477
  4. MuRF1 functions as a ubiquitin ligase to catalyze ubiquitylation of troponin I through a RING finger-dependent mechanism PMID: 15601779
  5. TnI-isoform and titin-isoform switching and corresponding functional changes during heart development are not initiated by birth but are genetically programmed PMID: 16679402
  6. The goal here was to identify domain clusters and residues that confer troponin I isoform-specific myofilament Ca2+ and pH sensitivities of contraction. PMID: 17602701
  7. This study highlights cellular contractile defects by cardiomyopathy mutant cTnIs that are allele and species dependent. PMID: 18423659
  8. Study identifies tyrosine phosphorylation as a novel protein kinase Cdelta (PKCdelta) activation mechanism that modifies PKCdelta-dependent phosphorylation of cardiac troponin I. PMID: 18550549
  9. The negative inotropic effect of HIV gp120 is mediated by a novel signaling pathway that begins with binding to a cardiac myocyte CXCR4 receptor, followed by phosphorylation of both p38 MAP kinase and Troponin I. PMID: 18850076
  10. observed higher relative level of natural antisense RNA in neonatal cardiac fibroblasts compared to neonatal cardiomyocytes, pointing to a cell type-specific expression of sense and antisense RNA PMID: 19184367
  11. These findings suggest that altered TnI function, due to changes in the distribution of phosphorylated sites, is an early contributor to reduced contractility of the heart. PMID: 19507043
