Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
This alpha-adrenergic receptor mediates its effect through the influx of extracellular calcium.
Gene References into Functions
  1. These results suggest that alpha-blockade reduces the urethral resistance associated with detrusor-sphincter dyssynergia, thus improving voiding efficiency in SCI rats. PMID: 27605559
  2. NA promotes HSC-T6 cell activation, proliferation and secretion of ECM in vitro via activation of Galpha-coupled alpha1B-AR and alpha1D-AR and the PKC-PI3K-AKT signaling pathway. PMID: 25283507
  3. Data suggest Adra1d expression is up-regulated in diabetic kidney; PPAR (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor) activation (via PPAR alpha or gamma agonists as hypoglycemic agents) suppresses renal expression of Adra1d in diabetic nephropathy. PMID: 24772448
  4. The alpha(1D)-adrenergic receptor is involved in methamphetamine-induced hyperthermia and neurotoxicity. PMID: 23283760
  5. The effect of Ang II on a1B-AR mRNA seems to be influenced by the absence of a1D-AR in aortic smooth muscle cells. PMID: 21951585
  6. activation of alpha(1D)-AR releases ATP, which induces P2X(7) receptors to increase [Ca(2+)](i) but not to stimulate protein secretion in lacrimal glands PMID: 21685341
  7. pressor nerve responses in the pithed rat involve both alpha(1A) and alpha(1D)-adrenoceptor PMID: 21376031
  8. AT(1)R and alpha1D -adrenoceptor may form heterodimers, and may play a role in preeclampsia. PMID: 20102360
  9. physical and psychological stressors resulted in a rapid upregulation of alpha(1d) ADR mRNA in the dentate gyrus PMID: 20138850
  10. the expression, cellular localization and coupling to membrane signalling (inositol phosphate accumulation) of alpha(1)-adrenoceptor subtypes in a native tissue PMID: 20511116
  11. Inhibition of Adra1d leads to an increase in myoblast death in conditions that are generally associated with myoblast survival. PMID: 20110686
  12. cell surface expression of alpha1D-adrenergic receptors is controlled by heterodimerization with alpha1B-adrenergic receptors PMID: 14736874
  13. influence of adrenergic activity on bladder contractility increases with aging is due to overexpression of the AR1D PMID: 18581117
