Description

The TROVE2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide between 3-535 amino acids from recombinant human TROVE2. Its purity is greater than 95% using protein G affinity chromatography purified. It exists as the unconjugated IgG isoform.

This TROVE2 polyclonal antibody is reactive to human, mouse, and rat samples. It is suitable for the analysis of TROVE2 in ELISA, WB, IHC, and IF applications. This antibody can be used for the detection and localize the TROVE2 protein, aiding in TROVE2-related research.

Function

RNA-binding protein that binds to misfolded non-coding RNAs, pre-5S rRNA, and several small cytoplasmic RNA molecules known as Y RNAs. May stabilize some of these RNAs and protect them from degradation. Binds to endogenous Alu retroelements which are induced by type I interferon and stimulate porinflammaotry cytokine secretion. Regulates the expression of Alu retroelements as well as inflammatory genes.; May play roles in cilia formation and/or maintenance.
