I am interested in human 14-3-3eta ELISA kit
What kind of positive control was used to check the kit?
I am planning to use primary cell culture supernatant
I have an experience with other companies ELISA plate. That company used as positive control recombinant 14-3-3eta derived from YEAST. I tried as control recombinant 14-3-3eta derived from E.Coli at same concentration and got negative data. That is why I am searching for other ELISA kit and wondering if CUSABIO had checked ELISA kit with serum, cells lysate also, not only recombinant protein.
One more question. What is the binding site of the anti-14-3-3eta antibody used at this ELISA kit? Thank you!

Thanks for your inquir!Our elisa kits are provided with the standard in it.The standard performs as a quality control and it comes as a complete system together with other reagents in the kit.
Regarding this elisa kit,the standard is express with CHO and 2 antibodies are used in it,mouse monoclonal antibody and goat polyclonal antibody.While the specific recognition site is not clear.
We tested and validated this kit on serum and plasma samples and this kit is usually used to detect serum and plasma samples.For cells lysate sample,we suggest the customer need do pre-testing first.If the customer uses the recombinant protein of the same structure with the natural protein,then it is ok to use it to detect the recombinant protein.If the customer must detect the recombinant protein,he/she had better to use the the recombinant protein expressed by eukaryote.While for the specific situation,pls refer to the customer's actual testing results.Natural protein is for sure the best.
As to the elisa kits from other brands,we did not ever analyzed and it is hard to comment.For the mentioned negative results,we suppose it happens.Pls do the specific analysis accordingly.
