Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human IL1F6 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

The human interleukin-36 alpha (IL36A) ELISA kit is suitable for quantitatively determining the human IL36A complex in multiple samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or cell culture supernates. This assay employs the bi-antibody sandwich technique and enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction to quantify human IL36A levels in the sample. The amount of synthesized colored product is positively related to the analyte of interest in the sample.
IL36A, also called IL1F6, is expressed during embryonic development and is highly abundant in epithelial cells, as well as monocytes, B cells, and T cells. IL36A has been shown to exert strong pro-inflammatory effects in the lungs of mice. Along with its modulation by EGF, IL36A plays an important role in skin barrier function and homeostasis. Ichii et al. indicated an association between intrarenal IL36A overexpression and the progression of tubulointerstitial inflammations and morpho-functional changes of distal tubule (DT) epithelial cells. IL36A may be a novel kidney injury marker useful for evaluating DT damages.
