Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human TGF-β1 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of TGF-β1 in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, supporting research into its central role in immune regulation, fibrosis, and growth signaling. Because TGF-β1 circulates in latent complexes and is released at widely varying levels depending on activation state and disease context, accurate quantification demands a kit calibrated to biologically meaningful concentrations.
Detection Range: The 23.5–1500 pg/ml range spans the activated TGF-β1 concentrations typically observed in human plasma (low hundreds of pg/ml in healthy donors) through the elevated levels found in fibrotic, oncologic, and chronic inflammatory conditions, minimizing the need for extensive serial dilutions while capturing disease-relevant shifts.
Sensitivity: At 5.8 pg/ml, the kit detects TGF-β1 in low-abundance samples such as conditioned media from regulatory T-cell cultures or early-stage fibrotic tissue explants where secreted levels may fall well below baseline plasma concentrations.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants enables researchers to correlate circulating TGF-β1 biomarker levels with in vitro mechanistic studies of epithelial-mesenchymal transition or immunosuppressive signaling within a single assay platform.
Assay Efficiency: A 50–100 µl sample requirement and 1–5 hour protocol accommodate limited primary cell harvests and time-sensitive multi-cytokine profiling experiments common in TGF-β1 research.
This kit is well suited for studies in organ fibrosis progression, tumor immune evasion, and regulatory T-cell functional characterization.
