Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human FSH in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in human samples, supporting research into gonadotropin-mediated signal transduction and reproductive endocrinology. Because FSH concentrations fluctuate dramatically across the menstrual cycle, menopausal status, and pituitary pathologies, the kit is designed to capture this broad physiological dynamic within a single assay run.
Detection Range: The 23.5–1500 pg/mL range spans from the low basal FSH levels seen in reproductive-age males and luteal-phase females to the markedly elevated concentrations characteristic of primary ovarian insufficiency and post-menopausal states. Most serum and plasma samples can be assayed directly without dilution, simplifying workflow.
Sensitivity: At 11.75 pg/mL, the kit detects FSH in samples where concentrations are suppressed, such as in hypogonadotropic hypogonadism models, GnRH-analog-treated subjects, or pituitary tissue homogenates with limited FSH-producing gonadotroph content.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates enables researchers to correlate circulating gonadotropin levels with local pituitary or gonadal tissue expression, bridging systemic endocrine profiling with organ-level mechanistic studies.
Assay Efficiency: The 1–5 hour protocol and 50–100 µL sample volume accommodate serial sampling designs common in cycle-mapping studies, where repeated blood draws limit available volume per timepoint.
This kit is well-suited for investigating polycystic ovary syndrome, pituitary adenoma characterization, and fertility treatment monitoring.
