Heat shock protein 90α (HSP-90α) is a molecular chaperone that plays a key role in protein folding, cellular signaling, and stress response mechanisms. As a member of the HSP90 family, this protein helps fold and stabilize many client proteins, including kinases, transcription factors, and steroid hormone receptors. Cells express HSP-90α constitutively, but levels increase under stress conditions. This makes the protein essential for cellular homeostasis and survival. The Human heat shock protein 90α (HSP-90α) ELISA kit (CSB-E13462h) provides quantitative detection of HSP-90α in human samples.
