Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

Arginase-1 catalyzes the hydrolysis of L-arginine to L-ornithine and urea, a reaction central to both hepatic nitrogen metabolism and immune regulation in tumor microenvironments where ARG1 depletion of arginine suppresses T-cell proliferation. This full-length recombinant protein (aa 1–322) demonstrates specific antibody binding with an EC50 of 2.291–3.018 ng/mL in functional ELISA and a binding affinity of 0.918 nM by surface plasmon resonance, confirming proper folding and epitope accessibility that supports its use as a positive control in enzyme-linked assays and for inhibitor screening campaigns. The C-terminal 10×His tag preserves the native N-terminus and active site architecture, providing a suitable basis for kinetic parameter analysis, IC50 determination in drug candidate evaluation, and substrate specificity profiling.
