Cadherin-17 plays a critical role in calcium-dependent cell–cell adhesion in gastrointestinal tissues and has emerged as a functionally relevant target in tumor metastasis research. This recombinant cynomolgus monkey CDH17 (residues 30–792) is expressed in mammalian cells with a C-terminal 10×His tag, preserving native-like glycosylation and folding across multiple extracellular cadherin domains essential for homophilic binding. Functional ELISA confirms robust activity, with immobilized CDH17 at 2 μg/mL binding an anti-CDH17 recombinant antibody at an EC50 of 2.182–2.529 ng/mL, supporting use in antibody development and validation, cell adhesion and spreading assays, and cell migration and invasion studies relevant to tumor metastasis modeling. Purity exceeding 90% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typical for cell-based functional assays where endotoxin interference must be minimized.
