Product Details

Recombinant Bovine Pregnancy-associated glycoprotein 1 is a partial length protein expressed with C-terminal Myc-tagged and C-terminal 6xHis-tagged in the yeast. Its expression region corresponds to 54-380aa of bovine PAG1 protein. Its purity was determined by SDS-PAGE and reached up to 85% and presented a molecular mass band of 39.7 kDa on the gel. This recombinant PAG1 protein may be used to synthesize antibodies against PAG1 or on the studies of PAG1-associated signal transduction.
PAG1 appears to be proteolytically inactive. PAG1is a member of the aspartic proteinase family, a structurally conserved grouping that includes pepsin, renin, and many other animal, plant, fungal, and retroviral proteinases. BoPAG-1 has been used for pregnancy diagnosis, particularly in dairy cows, where there is a major need for a sensitive method capable of detecting pregnancy within 1 mo of conception.

Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
