Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

The region for expressing recombinant Human HNRNPA1 contains amino acids 2-354. This HNRNPA1 protein is theoretically predicted to have a molecular weight of 40.9 kDa. Expression of this HNRNPA1 protein is conducted in e.coli. The HNRNPA1 gene fragment has been modified by fusing the N-terminal 6xHis tag, providing convenience in detecting and purifying the recombinant HNRNPA1 protein during the following stages.

Human heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A1 (HNRNPA1) is a multifunctional RNA-binding protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes. As a member of the hnRNP family, HNRNPA1 is involved in pre-mRNA processing, including splicing, mRNA transport, stability, and translation regulation. It participates in the formation of ribonucleoprotein complexes and contributes to the dynamic regulation of gene expression. Beyond its role in RNA metabolism, HNRNPA1 has been implicated in diverse cellular functions, including DNA repair, telomere maintenance, and stress response. Dysregulation of HNRNPA1 has been associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis.

Binds to the IRES and thereby inhibits the translation of the apoptosis protease activating factor APAF1.; (Microbial infection) May play a role in HCV RNA replication.; (Microbial infection) Cleavage by Enterovirus 71 protease 3C results in increased translation of apoptosis protease activating factor APAF1, leading to apoptosis.
