TNFRSF13B (TACI) mediates B-cell survival and class-switch recombination by binding BAFF and APRIL, making it a critical node in humoral immunity and a target in autoimmune disease and B-cell malignancy research. This cynomolgus macaque ortholog, spanning residues 2–160 of the extracellular domain and produced in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation and disulfide architecture, demonstrates quantified binding to both cynomolgus TNFSF13B (EC50 7.3–13.8 ng/mL) and human TNFSF13 and TNFSF13B ligands (EC50 values ranging 0.64–19.0 ng/mL across isoforms), confirming cross-species receptor-ligand interaction fidelity suitable for competitive inhibition assays, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and blocking antibody screening in translational primate models. The low-picomolar to nanomolar EC50 range supports sensitive detection in ELISA-based ligand-binding studies and affinity characterization by surface plasmon resonance or biolayer interferometry. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg and purity exceeding 95% align with standards expected in functional immunoassays where cytokine contamination would confound B-cell activation readouts.
