Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Mediates responses to nitric oxide (NO) by catalyzing the biosynthesis of the signaling molecule cGMP.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Study shows notch signaling provides a constitutive drive on expression of the major nitric oxide receptor GUCY1A3 and GUCY1B3 in arteries from mice. PMID: 28465505
  2. Apo-sGC mice expressing haem-free sGC are viable and develop hypertension. The haemodynamic effects of NO are abolished, but those of the sGC activator cinaciguat are enhanced. PMID: 26442659
  3. NO-GC has a role in growth and plasticity of hindlimb and retinal vasculature after ischemic/hypoxic insult PMID: 25795218
  4. sGC and cGMP-dependent signaling are necessary and sufficient for HNO-induced vasodilation in vivo but are not required for positive inotropic action. PMID: 25452469
  5. The broad substrate-specificity of soluble guanylyl cyclase and the possible second messenger roles of cyclic nucleotides other than adenosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphate and guanosine 3',5'-cyclic monophosphate. PMID: 23087103
  6. Deletion of GCbeta1 specifically in smooth muscle cells abolishes NO-induced corpus cavernosum relaxation but does not lead to infertility. PMID: 23129789
  7. These data suggests a novel physiological role for PDE5 in restricting the effects of NOS3/sGC/PKG signaling pathway to modulating beta-AR stimulated I(Ca), while limiting effects on cardiac contraction.[sGC] PMID: 19345227
  8. Pressure overload results in translocation of sGC out of membrane microdomains, depressing NO/heme-dependent activation in the heart, consistent with enhanced oxidation. PMID: 22095726
  9. Important roles of sGC in stimulating platelet activation and in vivo thrombosis and hemostasis. PMID: 21803853
  10. sGCalpha1beta1-derived cGMP signalling has gender-specific and testosterone-dependent cardiovascular effects and reveal that the effects of NO on systemic blood pressure do not require sGCalpha1beta1. PMID: 18339647
  11. findings identify a crucial role of the NO/sGCalpha1beta1/cGMP pathway in modulating lymphatic vessel function [soluble guanylate cyclase alpha1beta1] PMID: 17855621
  12. deletion of NO-GC solely in smooth muscle is sufficient to cause hypertension PMID: 20065162
  13. Knockout of GCbeta1 completely disrupts the NO/cGMP signaling cascade and provides evidence for the unique role of NO-GC as NO receptor. PMID: 17452643
  14. Nitric oxide-sensitive guanylyl cyclase is crucially involved in the central sensitization of pain pathways during inflammatory and neuropathic pain. PMID: 18716216
  15. cGMP generated by sGC(alpha)(1)beta(1) protects against cardiac dysfunction and mortality in murine inflammatory shock models PMID: 19502556
