The expression of the CDCP1 recombinant monoclonal antibody typically involves the initial step of incorporating the CDCP1 antibody-encoding gene into expression vectors. These vectors are then introduced into host cells via polyethyleneimine-mediated transfection. Culturing of the host cells leads to the production and secretion of these antibodies. Post-affinity chromatography purification, the antibodies' functionality is evaluated using ELISA, demonstrating their specific binding to the CDCP1 protein from human, mouse, and Macaca fascicularis species. In the functional ELISA, immobilized macaca fascicularis CDCP1 protein (CSB-MP4569MOV) at 2 μg/mL can bind this CDCP1 recombinant monoclonal antibody, with the EC50 of 1.861-2.330 ng/mL.
CDCP1 is a cell surface protein with a significant role in cell adhesion, migration, invasion, and signaling. Its upregulation in cancer is associated with aggressive tumor behavior, making it a target for potential cancer therapies.
