Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Plays a role in B-cell proliferation and differentiation.
Gene References into Functions
  1. CD72 appears to specifically inhibit B cell response to the endogenous TLR7 ligand Sm/RNP. PMID: 27810925
  2. CD72 negatively regulates mouse mast cell functions and down-regulates the expression of KIT and FcepsilonRIalpha. PMID: 25239131
  3. These results strongly suggest that the Cd72(c) is a crucial modifier gene that regulates Fas(lpr)-induced autoimmune disease due to its reduced activity of B cell signal regulation. PMID: 23616572
  4. Cd72 polymorphism affects susceptibility to lupus phenotypes. PMID: 23365086
  5. Inhibitory coreceptors CD72 and CD22 are responsible for setting the requirement of CD40 signaling for survival and proliferation of antigen-stimulated spleen B cells. PMID: 12902484
  6. results strongly suggest that the apoptosis preventing signal evoked by CD72 ligation is delivered through the pathway of NF-kappaB, c-Myc, p27(Kip1) and cyclin PMID: 14734859
  7. Strength of B-cell antigen receptor signals is strictly tuned by the interaction of CD100 with CD72; this interaction is essential for maintaining immunological homeostasis as well as generating a proper immune response. PMID: 16113236
  8. CD72 plays a dominant role as a negative regulator of BCR signaling in primary mature B lymphocytes. PMID: 16621999
  9. CD72 is required to maintain B cell anergy and functions as a regulator of peripheral B cell tolerance PMID: 18821699
  10. CD72 is an inhibitory receptor on NK cells regulating cytokine production. PMID: 19197938
  11. CD72 activates extracellular signal-regulated kinase and c-Jun N-terminal kinase (but not p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase), synergizing with B cell receptor signals to induce proliferation of B cells in X-linked immunodeficiency. PMID: 11466342
