This recombinant human LAMP1 protein is produced in mammalian cells and contains an amino acid sequence corresponding to the region 29-382aa of the human LAMP1 protein. The product has a C-terminal hFc-tag and is supplied as a lyophilized powder, which can be reconstituted in sterile water or buffer before use. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE, and the endotoxin level is less than 1.0 EU/µg, as measured by the LAL method. The ED50, as determined by its ability to bind human Galectin-3 in a functional ELISA, is less than 20 ng/ml, making it suitable for various research applications in the field of cancer.
Lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1 (LAMP1) is a highly glycosylated type I transmembrane protein, predominantly located in the lysosomal membrane, and has been implicated in various cellular processes such as lysosome biogenesis, autophagy, and membrane trafficking. Due to its high expression levels in certain cancer cells and its role in cancer progression, LAMP1 is considered an important molecule for cancer research.
