CCL19 (ELC) plays a central role in directing dendritic cell and lymphocyte trafficking to secondary lymphoid organs through CCR7 engagement, making it indispensable for studying adaptive immune initiation. This tag-free recombinant mouse CCL19, encompassing the full mature sequence (residues 26–108), drives chemotaxis of human mature dendritic cells at 10–100 ng/ml, confirming signaling potency suitable for transwell migration assays, CCR7-dependent pathway studies, and in vivo lymphocyte homing models. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg minimize LPS-driven artifacts that commonly confound dendritic cell and T-cell functional readouts, supporting use in sensitive cell-based activation, differentiation, and signaling experiments interrogating MAPK or NF-κB cascades downstream of CCR7. Purity exceeding 97% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, also provides a suitable basis for deployment as a reference standard in chemokine detection assays or as a positive control antigen in ELISA and antibody validation workflows.
