Description

Initiation of the PDLP7 polyclonal antibody generation involves the selection of a recombinant Arabidopsis thaliana PDLP7 protein (31-298aa) as the immunogen. This protein is utilized to immunize a rabbit, resulting in the production of antibodies. The PDLP7 antibody is extracted and purified from the rabbit serum through affinity chromatography. The PDLP7 antibody can be used to detect Arabidopsis thaliana PDLP7 protein through ELISA and WB assays.

Studies suggest that PDLP7 is involved in regulating plasmodesmata, which are channels that allow for communication between plant cells. PDLP7 may play a role in controlling the transport of molecules and signals through plasmodesmata, thereby influencing various physiological processes in plants.
