Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human CD63 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of soluble CD63 (sCD63) in human samples, supporting immunology research focused on this tetraspanin enriched on exosome membranes and activated platelet and basophil surfaces. Because sCD63 levels reflect both exosome release dynamics and degranulation events, researchers need an assay that performs across diverse biofluids where shed CD63 concentrations vary considerably.
Detection Range: The 47–3000 pg/mL range spans the low baseline sCD63 concentrations typical in plasma and urine while accommodating the elevated levels found in exosome-rich cell culture supernates and tissue homogenates from inflamed or tumor-associated tissues. Most serum and plasma samples can be assayed neat or with minimal dilution.
Sensitivity: At 23.5 pg/mL, the kit detects sCD63 in low-abundance conditions such as unstimulated basophil culture supernates, early-stage tumor-derived exosome fractions, and dilute saliva samples where exosome content is limited.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, urine, saliva, and tissue homogenates enables paired analyses — for example, correlating circulating sCD63 in plasma with local exosome shedding quantified in matched tissue homogenates or tracking urinary exosome markers alongside blood-based measurements.
Assay Efficiency: The 1–5 hour protocol and 50–100 µL sample volume accommodate precious primary basophil preparations and small-volume exosome isolates where material is inherently limited.
This kit is directly applicable to basophil activation testing, tumor-derived exosome profiling, and allergic response monitoring.
