Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human PARC in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of CCL18 (PARC/DC-CK1/MIP-4) in human samples, supporting research into this constitutively expressed pulmonary and immune chemokine. Because CCL18 is produced at high basal levels by alveolar macrophages and dendritic cells yet shifts dramatically during fibrotic remodeling and tumor-associated macrophage polarization, accurate quantification across both homeostatic and disease-driven concentrations is essential.
Detection Range: The 7.8–500 pg/mL range captures CCL18 levels in diluted serum and plasma, where circulating concentrations typically fall between 10–150 ng/mL in healthy individuals and rise substantially in pulmonary fibrosis and ovarian cancer. Researchers should plan serial dilutions (typically 1:100–1:1000) to bring samples within range, reserving neat or minimally diluted samples for tissue homogenates where local concentrations are lower.
Sensitivity: At 3.9 pg/mL, the kit detects CCL18 in diluted systemic samples and in tissue homogenates where chemokine gradients near producing cells may be modest, enabling microenvironment-level profiling in fibrotic or tumor tissue.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates allows researchers to correlate systemic CCL18 biomarker levels with local tissue expression within the same study, linking circulating signatures to organ-specific pathology.
Assay Efficiency: The 1–5 hour protocol using 50–100 µL accommodates limited biopsy-derived homogenates and enables same-day processing of longitudinal patient cohorts.
This kit is directly applicable to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis biomarker studies, tumor-associated macrophage phenotyping, and allergic airway disease research.
