Description

Nectin-4 plays a central role in cell-cell adhesion and has emerged as a key therapeutic target in tumor metastasis research, making functionally validated protein reagents essential for mechanistic studies. This recombinant human Nectin-4 construct spans residues 32–351, covering the extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains critical for trans-interactions with binding partners such as Nectin-1. Produced in mammalian cells to promote native-like glycosylation and proper folding, the protein demonstrates robust binding activity with an ED50 of 16.29 ng/ml in a functional ELISA against an anti-human Nectin-4 mAb-mFc, supporting use in antibody development and validation, cell adhesion and spreading assays, and cell migration and invasion studies relevant to immune cell trafficking. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the criteria typically required for sensitive cell-based assays investigating tumor metastasis mechanisms and integrin-ligand binding interactions.
