Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Specifically phosphorylates the agonist-occupied form of the beta-adrenergic and closely related receptors.
Gene References into Functions
  1. Study found that GRK3 was significantly overexpressed in 162 pairs of colon cancer tissues than in the matched noncancerous mucosa. These data show that aberrant expression of GRK3 plays an important role in promoting colon cancer progression through enhanced proliferation and reduced apoptosis. PMID: 29445249
  2. hat expression of GRK3 was down-regulated in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and was an independent prognostic factor PMID: 29254792
  3. GRK3 is a new critical activator of neuroendocrine phenotypes and mediator of CREB activation in promoting neuroendocrine differentiation of prostate cancer cells. PMID: 27191986
  4. effects of GRK3 modulation appear to be specific to chemokine-mediated migration behaviors without influencing tumor cell proliferation or survival PMID: 27049755
  5. data are consistent with the possibility that oncogenes can induce cellular stiffness via an HDAC6-induced reorganization of the vimentin intermediate filament network PMID: 24434559
  6. In oral squamous cell carcinomas, malignant cells and surrounding tissue overexpress the ADRBK2 gene. PMID: 21916780
  7. A reduced cortical concentration of GRK3 in schizophrenia (resembling that in aging) may result in altered G protein-dependent signaling, thus contributing to prefrontal deficits in schizophrenia. PMID: 21784156
  8. GRK3 is a negative regulator of cell growth whose expression is preferentially reduced in glioblastoma of the classical subtype as a consequence of activity in primary gliomagenic pathways. PMID: 22086906
  9. mRNA levels for GRK3 were inversely correlated with systolic and diastolic blood pressure (day, night and 24 h), which suggests a protective role for GRK3 in the regulation of human blood pressure PMID: 20216086
  10. we found no evidence of altered levels of acetylated histone H3 at the affected allele compared to the common allele PMID: 19766236
  11. dysregulation in GRK3 expression alters signaling desensitization, and thereby predisposes to the development of bipolar disorder PMID: 12808434
  12. the CRH-R1alpha carboxyl tail is important for regulation of receptor activity by G protein-coupled receptor kinase PMID: 15498832
  13. ATP stimulation leads to GRK3 phosphorylation of P2X(7) receptor. PMID: 15728711
  14. No support for a major role for GRK3 gene promoter variants in cocaine addiction. PMID: 17621168
  15. Dysregulation in GRK3 expression alters signaling desensitization and thereby predisposes to the development of bipolar disease. PMID: 18075471
  16. role for GRK3 in regulating CXCR4 attenuation and have provided a mechanistic link between the GRK3 pathway and the CXCR4-related WHIM(WT) disorder. PMID: 18274673
  17. The G-384A variant may alter binding of Sp1/Sp4 transcription factors resulting in an increase in gene transcription and an increase in vulnerability to bipolar disorder. PMID: 18359007
