 Q&A
Q:

Our work group intends to work in detail with this enzyme in the near future.
Furthermore, we're interested in information about the activity and the glycosylation pattern of this enzyme.

A:
Very nice to receive your inquiry. We haven't validated the activity of this protein yet. Currently we have only developed this target with region 64-399aa using E. coli expression system (CSB-EP614990HU, CSB-EP614990HUc0 ).
Generally prokaryotic expression does not have glycosylation. If you are interested in glycosylation, other eukaryotic systems can be selected, such as Yeast system. You could choose Expression Region 64-399aa or Expression Region 38-414aa. Both regions contain substrate binding sites, catalytically active sites, as well as theoretical glycosylation sites, which should be active in theory.
However, we cannot 100% guarantee as we haven't developed the Yeast system with Expression Region 64-399aa or Expression Region 38-414aa before, and haven't validated the activity yet.
