This recombinant human somatotropin covers the full-length mature sequence (aa 27–217) and demonstrates validated dual-receptor engagement, binding GHR with an EC50 of 19.28–25.29 ng/ml and PRLR with an EC50 of 60.71–69.65 ng/ml in functional ELISA, confirming its suitability for receptor binding assays, competition studies, and structure-function investigations of GH signaling specificity. Produced in mammalian cells with N-terminal 10xHis and C-terminal Myc tags, the protein retains native folding critical for cell-based metabolic and signaling assays such as JAK-STAT pathway activation or glucose uptake studies. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg combined with greater than 90% purity satisfy the criteria typically required for in vivo pharmacology models of growth disorders or metabolic disease, as well as for use as a calibration standard in immunoassay development.
Applications : Binding assay/Protein-protein interaction
Review: After receiving the product, I tested the binding activity of GH1 and GHR. GH1 could bind to human GHR at a concentration of 1 μg/ml, EC50 was 24.96-33.39 ng/ml, and the protein had complete biological activity. The affinity test showed better results! The protein has good repeatability, stability, and performance, and is worth purchasing!
