The ISL1 recombinant monoclonal antibody is produced through the combination of protein technology and DNA recombinant technology. Firstly, mice were injected with a synthesized peptide that was obtained from human ISL1. After a specified period of time, spleen cells were collected from the immunized mice in a sterile environment, and the total RNA was extracted. The ISL1 antibody gene was then amplified from the cDNA synthesized through RNA reverse transcription, and inserted into a vector which was later transfected into host cells for culture. The resulting ISL1 recombinant monoclonal antibody was purified from the supernatant of the cultured cells using affinity chromatography and underwent rigorous verification to ensure its quality. It can be used in both ELISA and WB experiments to detect the human ISL1 protein.
The ISL1 protein is a transcription factor that plays critical roles in various aspects of embryonic development and tissue homeostasis. It functions by binding to specific DNA sequences in the genome and regulating the expression of target genes. Dysregulation of its function has been implicated in various diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
