Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse IL-10 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-10 (IL-10) in mouse serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates, supporting immunology research focused on this critical anti-inflammatory cytokine. Because IL-10 is often produced at low concentrations during early immune responses and its levels can vary dramatically between systemic circulation and local tissue microenvironments, accurate quantification across these compartments demands both broad dynamic range and high sensitivity.
Detection Range: The 3.12–200 pg/mL range spans the concentrations typically observed in mouse serum under both basal and inflammatory conditions, including LPS challenge and infection models where IL-10 surges as a counter-regulatory signal. Most samples can be assayed neat or with minimal dilution, simplifying workflow.
Sensitivity: At 0.78 pg/mL, the kit detects IL-10 in unstimulated mice and early-phase immune responses where circulating levels remain near the low picogram range, as well as in conditioned media from regulatory T cell or macrophage cultures.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates enables researchers to correlate systemic IL-10 levels with local production in gut, lung, or tumor microenvironments within the same study.
Assay Efficiency: Requiring only 50–100 µL per well and 1–5 hours to complete, the kit accommodates limited-volume samples from repeated bleeds or small tissue biopsies common in longitudinal mouse studies.
This kit is directly applicable to studies of colitis, sepsis immunomodulation, and tumor immune evasion driven by IL-10 signaling.
