The monoclonal antibody against human CDH1 was produced using hybridoma technology. B cells were isolated from the spleen of a mouse immunized with the synthesized peptide derived from human CDH1 and fused with myeloma cells to form hybridomas. This ensured the continuous production of CDH1 antibodies. The selected hybridomas that produce CDH1 antibodies were cultured in the mouse abdominal cavity to obtain the CDH1 monoclonal antibody. The CDH1 monoclonal antibody was purified from mouse ascites using affinity chromatography with a specific immunogen. This purified antibody is suitable for ELISA and IHC applications and has been validated for its specificity in recognizing human CDH1 protein.
CDH1 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that plays an essential role in cell-cell adhesion. CDH1 is expressed in epithelial tissues and is critical for maintaining the integrity of the epithelial barrier. It is also involved in various cellular processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, and apoptosis. Loss of CDH1 function or expression has been linked to the progression of various types of cancer, including breast, stomach, and colon cancer.
