IL-13 receptor subunit alpha-1 mediates cellular responses to IL-13, a cytokine central to allergic inflammation and Th2-driven immune pathways, making this receptor a target for therapeutic intervention in asthma and atopic disease. This mammalian-expressed construct spanning residues 22–343 captures the extracellular ligand-binding domain with native post-translational modifications that preserve conformational epitopes, as demonstrated by functional ELISA showing dose-dependent binding to an anti-IL13RA1 recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 0.8074–0.9029 ng/mL. The quantified binding kinetics support use in competitive inhibition assays for blocking antibody screening, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and ligand-receptor interaction studies by ELISA, SPR, or BLI. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg and purity exceeding 95% meet the quality thresholds commonly required for antibody validation workflows and biologic inhibitor screening in immunology research.
