mpt64 polyclonal antibody CSB-PA14949A0Rb was produced in the rabbits immunized by using the Recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis Immunogenic protein MPT64 protein (24-228AA) as the immunogen. The target protein mpt64 is a 23 kDa secreted protein restricted to members of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) which elicits T cell responses and cutaneous DTH reactions in Myco. tuberculosis-infected animals. This protein is recognized by human Th1 cells, and thus it could be useful for TB diagnosis or as part of a novel candidate vaccine against Tuberculosis (TB).
This Rabbit anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis mpt64 Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA and WB applications. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It only reacts with the mpt64 proteins of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of mpt64 protein. |
