Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

CCL17 orchestrates Th2 cell recruitment and is a key mediator in allergic inflammation and atopic diseases, making it a critical target for dissecting T cell–driven immune responses. This mammalian-expressed protein spanning residues 24–94 demonstrates robust receptor engagement with an EC50 of 2.403–2.741 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing quantitative evidence of its binding potency suitable for chemotaxis assays, T cell migration studies, and signaling pathway investigations targeting CCR4-mediated activation. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg meet the stringent criteria required for primary immune cell assays, where LPS contamination would confound interpretation of CCL17-specific effects on T cell proliferation, differentiation, or cytokine secretion. The C-terminal mFc tag facilitates immobilization in binding assays and antibody validation workflows, while purity exceeding 95% supports its use as a coating antigen in ELISA development and as a reference standard in cytokine detection platforms.
