Form
Liquid or Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer
If the delivery form is liquid, the default storage buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 5%-50% glycerol.
Note: If you have any special requirement for the glycerol content, please remark when you place the order.
If the delivery form is lyophilized powder, the buffer before lyophilization is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
3-7 business days
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Description

Amino acids 1-113 constitute the expression domain of recombinant Human CT83. This CT83 protein is expected to have a theoretical molecular weight of 26.8 kDa. This CT83 recombinant protein is manufactured in e.coli. Fusion of the N-terminal 6xHis-B2M tag into the CT83 encoding gene fragment was conducted, allowing for easier detection and purification of the CT83 protein in subsequent stages.

Human kita-Kyushu lung cancer antigen 1 (CT83) is a cancer-testis antigen implicated in tumorigenesis. CT83 is overexpressed in various cancers, particularly lung cancer. Investigation of CT83 provides insights into cancer biology, immunotherapy targets, and potential applications in cancer prognostics, and therapeutic strategies. In cancer research, CT83 is a potential biomarker for prognosis. Its role in immune responses makes it relevant in immunotherapy research. Additionally, CT83's involvement in tumor cell proliferation and survival suggests its contribution to oncogenic processes.

Target Background

Gene References into Functions
  1. High KK-LC-1 expression was detected in breast cancer, especially in oestrogen receptor-negative subtypes. PMID: 30275220
  2. The KK-LC-1 expression rate was high even in patients with stage I cancer, suggesting that KK-LC-1 is a useful biomarker for early diagnosis of gastric cancer. PMID: 29290656
  3. KK-LC-1 was frequently expressed in gastric cancer caused by H. pylori infection. PMID: 28438869
  4. CXorf61 is a target for T cell based immunotherapy of triple-negative breast cancer. PMID: 26327325
  5. The frequency of KK-LC-1 expression was higher than that of the other CTAs. KK-LC-1 might be a useful target for immunotherapy and in diagnosis of gastric cancer. PMID: 26026129
