Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

TNFSF15 plays a pivotal role in vascular remodeling and immune regulation, making it a key target in cancer and inflammatory disease research. This recombinant protein, spanning residues 72–251 and expressed in mammalian cells to preserve native glycosylation, demonstrates robust receptor-binding activity with an EC50 of 0.76–0.87 ng/mL in functional ELISA against a specific anti-TNFSF15 antibody, confirming proper folding and epitope presentation. The low endotoxin level (< 1.0 EU/μg) combined with > 95% purity satisfies the stringent criteria expected for cell-based functional assays, including primary T-cell activation studies, endothelial cell apoptosis experiments, and NF-κB signaling pathway investigations where LPS contamination would confound cytokine-specific responses. The validated binding activity supports its use as a coating antigen in ELISA development, a positive control in Western blot validation, and an immunogen for antibody generation targeting the extracellular domain of TNFSF15.
