Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

VEGFR-2 mediates the majority of VEGF-driven angiogenic signaling in both physiological and pathological contexts, making quantitative assessment of ligand-receptor interactions central to cancer biology and therapeutic development. This mammalian-expressed extracellular domain (aa 20–764) binds immobilized human VEGF-A with an EC50 of 11.19–12.63 ng/mL in functional ELISA, providing a validated reagent for competitive inhibition assays that screen anti-angiogenic antibodies or small-molecule antagonists targeting the VEGF-VEGFR-2 axis. The C-terminal hFc1 tag enables straightforward immobilization in surface plasmon resonance and biolayer interferometry platforms, supporting affinity characterization and epitope mapping studies for therapeutic antibody candidates.
