Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Gene References into Functions
  1. Low C1QTNF3 expression is associated with polycystic ovarian syndrome. PMID: 29438034
  2. Although it is dispensable for physiological control of energy balance, CTRP3 plays a previously unsuspected role in modulating liver size and circulating cytokine levels in response to obesity. PMID: 26670485
  3. CTRP3 was expressed in developing skeletal muscle tissues, and the expression level of CTRP3 was increased during myogenic differentiation of C2C12 cells. PMID: 26272338
  4. Our study suggests that CTRP3 prevents osteoclast differentiation PMID: 26103094
  5. Data suggest that CTRP3 up-regulates expression and secretion of adipokines (adiponectin, leptin, visfatin, and apelin) in adipocytes; these responses to CTRP3 are down-regulated by insulin resistance or inhibition of AMPK signaling pathway. PMID: 25168658
  6. present study shows the proof of principle that the novel adipokine CTRP-3 is a potent inhibitor of LPS-induced systemic inflammation and LPS-induced signaling in adipose tissue in vivo PMID: 24996172
  7. CTRP3 promotes vascular calcification by enhancing phosphate-induced osteogenic transition of VSMC through reactive oxygen species-extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2-Runx2 pathway. PMID: 24578384
  8. These observations indicate that CTRP3 plays an important role in the development of autoimmune arthritis, suggesting CTRP3 as a possible medicine to treat rheumatoid arthritis. PMID: 24269820
  9. results establish a novel role for C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 3 (CTRP3) in regulating hepatic lipid metabolism and highlight its protective function and therapeutic potential in attenuating hepatic steatosis PMID: 23744740
  10. c-Jun is a cis-acting element for CTRP3 regulation in chondrogenic cells. PMID: 22644487
  11. CTRP3 is a novel antiapoptotic, proangiogenic, and cardioprotective adipokine, the expression of which is significantly inhibited after myocardial infarction. PMID: 22653084
  12. This study provides the first functional evidence linking CTRP3 to hepatic glucose metabolism and establishes CTRP3 as a novel adipokine. PMID: 20952387
  13. Exogenous CTRP3/cartducin promoted the proliferation of p53LMAC01 cells in a dose-dependent manner via ERK1/2 (extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2)- and MAPK (p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase)-signalling pathways PMID: 19947921
  14. Genomic organization, chromosomal localization and adipocytic expression of the murine gene for CORS-26 PMID: 12850274
  15. the murine CORS-26 promoter is transcriptionally regulated by specificity protein-1, PPARgamma, and pituitary protein transcription factor-1 PMID: 15157741
  16. Cartducin is a novel growth factor and plays important roles in regulating both chondrogenesis and cartilage development by its direct stimulatory action on the proliferation of chondrogenic precursors and chondrocytes. PMID: 16155912
  17. CORS-26 up-regulates adipokine secretion and might be involved in metabolic and immunologic pathways. PMID: 17299102
  18. Elevated expression of CTRP3/cartducin contributes to promotion of osteosarcoma cell proliferation PMID: 19424626
