Conjugate Avi-tag Biotinylated
E. coli biotin ligase (BirA) is highly specific in covalently attaching biotin to the 15 amino acid AviTag peptide. This recombinant protein was biotinylated in vivo by AviTag-BirA technology, which method is BriA catalyzes amide linkage between the biotin and the specific lysine of the AviTag.

Tag Info
Tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
The tag type will be determined during production process. If you have specified tag type, please tell us and we will develop the specified tag preferentially.
Form
Lyophilized powder
Note: We will preferentially ship the format that we have in stock, however, if you have any special requirement for the format, please remark your requirement when placing the order, we will prepare according to your demand.
Buffer before Lyophilization
Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose, pH 8.0
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20℃/-80℃. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is related to many factors, storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature and the stability of the protein itself.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Lead Time
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing way or location, please kindly consult your local distributors for specific delivery time.
Note: All of our proteins are default shipped with normal blue ice packs, if you request to ship with dry ice, please communicate with us in advance and extra fees will be charged.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.

Target Background

Function
Receptor for inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate, a second messenger that mediates the release of intracellular calcium. This release is regulated by cAMP both dependently and independently of PKA.
Gene References into Functions
  1. ITPR2 and hypertrophy specific gene expression is regulated, in part, by a positive feedback regulation between InsP3R2 and calcineurin-NFATc signaling pathways. PMID: 24415751
  2. Pericanalicular calcium signaling mediated InsP3R2 plays an important role in maintaining bile salt secretion through posttranslational regulation of the bile salt export pump. PMID: 21748767
  3. IP(3)R2 selectively associates with AC6, G alpha(s) also associates with the AC x IP(3)R signaling junction. PMID: 20189985
  4. Astrocytes in the adult hippocampus, cerebellum, and corpus callosum express only type 2 inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors. PMID: 12112377
  5. InsP3R2 is expressed in rat portal vein but not in the ureter; InsP3R2 subtype is required for acetylcholine-induced calcium oscillations in rat vascular myocytes. PMID: 12893684
  6. The results suggest that the InsP(3)R2 was present in the endoplasmic reticulum, but not in secretory granules in adrenal medullary cells. PMID: 17081354
  7. While IP(3)R1 is not expressed in the Schwann cells or the axon, IP(3)R2 and IP(3)R3 are expressed in distinct cellular domains, suggesting distinct signaling roles for the two receptors. PMID: 17091480
  8. Loss caused a great decrease in the sensitivity of hepatocytes to vasopressin and resulted in Ca(2+) waves that were much slower and delayed in onset. PMID: 17284437
  9. In native vascular myocytes, ACh-induced InsP3 production is transient and Ca2+ oscillations depend on a Ca2+ modulation of InsP3R2. PMID: 18026983
  10. Elevated InsP(3)R2 expression was also detected in hearts from human patients with heart failure after ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy, as well as in aortic-banded hypertrophic mouse hearts. PMID: 19549843
