NCR3LG1, also known as B7-H6, serves as a critical ligand for the natural cytotoxicity triggering receptor 3 (NKp30) expressed on natural killer cells. This interaction plays a fundamental role in NK cell-mediated tumor surveillance, as NCR3LG1 is frequently upregulated on the surface of stressed, infected, or transformed cells while remaining largely absent from healthy tissues. Understanding NCR3LG1 biology has become increasingly important for researchers investigating innate immune responses, tumor immunology, and the development of NK cell-based immunotherapies.
This recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 9E5, offers researchers the reproducibility and consistency that recombinant technology provides. Because the antibody sequence is defined and produced through recombinant expression rather than traditional hybridoma methods, you can expect reliable performance across experiments and between lot numbers, eliminating a common source of variability in long-term studies.
The antibody has been validated for ELISA applications with human NCR3LG1, demonstrating robust binding activity in functional assays. When immobilized human NCR3LG1 protein was tested, the antibody showed strong interaction with an EC50 in the 10.90–12.22 ng/mL range. Reciprocal binding experiments with immobilized antibody capturing soluble NCR3LG1 yielded even greater sensitivity, with EC50 values of 0.4364–0.5147 ng/mL. These data support the antibody's utility in quantitative detection assays at recommended dilutions ranging from 1:5000 to 1:50000.
Supplied in a glycerol-based PBS buffer for stability, this antibody is well-suited for immunology research programs focused on NK cell biology, tumor immune evasion mechanisms, and checkpoint-related pathways involving the B7 family of immunomodulatory proteins.
